Quirky Penguin is an independent, documentary-style educational platform dedicated to stripping away the "cute tuxedo" stereotype of the Sphenisciformes order, exposing the ruthless, bizarre, and utterly fascinating biology beneath.
Documenting the Bizarre
Most wildlife platforms focus on the majestic or the heartwarming. We focus on the strange. From the black-market pebble economies of the Adélie to the intentional lung collapsing of the Emperor, our goal is to highlight the evolutionary adaptations that read like science fiction.
Based nominally out of Stanley, Falkland Islands, our small team curates data, photographic evidence, and biological facts to build an uncompromising digital field guide for nature enthusiasts and trivia buffs alike.
